• Castellum Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Tasting notes:
This wine has ruby red colour. Influential nose with tones of black currant, mint, light cuts, vanilla and toast results of wood ripening. Medium body and soft tannins with medium a bit spicy finish.

Food match:
braised beef, garlic chicken wings, roasted chicken, steak with mushroom sauce, risotto with vegetables, pizza, beef carpaccio, goat cheese.

Castellum” stands for top range of wine. This red is the latest product of Karabunar winery. It is produced from carefully selected grapes, vinificated separately. To show its character, kept to age for 18 months in American and Bulgarian oak barrels. The success on the international wine  scene was immediate.
