• Bulgarian Heritage Rosé 2019

Tasting notes:
Bright pink- salmon colour, kind of Provence. The nose is open and rich of fresh aroma of red fruit in combination with dried herbs, wet stone like. Dry on the pallet with bright acidity, nuance of juicy white cherry and red berries. Pleasant sweetness with a bit spicy finish.
Food match:

Asian food (Thai, Chinese), sushi, green salads, chicken, snacks, light cheese or by its own.

Bulgarian Heritage” line – the idea behind these wines is to show the potential of the indigenous Bulgarian grape varieties from the most popular red like “Mavrud”, white “Dimyat” to the almost forgotten “Red Misket”. Mavrud is usually used for making red wines. And yet can produce fruity fresh rosé wines with bright acidy. Karabunar winery Rosé Mavrud, is a modern approach wine style: juicy, gentle yet intriguing and easy-going wine for terras /apero time and pairing with food.
