About this wine:
Gergana is a white grape variety, selected via crossing of Dimyat (another local grape variety) and Muscat Otonel in the University of Plovdiv.
The grapes for the wine were gathered at the end of September year 2017 from the vineyards of Winery Tsarev Brod, close to the city of Shumen. The wine fermented under temperature of 16-18 °C with yeasts for red wine which aims to take in the aromas.
Tasting notes:
Pale lemon colour. Intensive, floral and fruity nose with a seductive accent of citrus fruit, peach, apple, fresh cut gras and dry flowers, flinty. Fresh taste with light body on the palate. The wine surprises with complex flavors with citrus fruit, some herbal and floral and flinty notes. This is a harmonious and delicate aromatic wine with a rather long finish.
