Unfiltered Rose Tsarev Brod from three varieties – Evmolpia 40%, Cabernet Franc 30% and Pinot Noir 30%. Evmolpia is a Bulgarian grape variety cross between Merlot and Mavrud selected in 1991. Tsarev Brod winery again show a Bulgarian variety, which is slightly neglected, but enough knowledge and experience with the variety we can skillfully say that they made a great original wine.

The grapes for this wine were picked at the end of September from our own vineyard, located in the village of Tsarev Brod, Shumen. The wine is fermented and aged for 8 months in small stainless steel vessels. Throughout this period, the rosé developed on its fine lees, allowing all processes to continue naturally without any added preservatives. The wine is then bottled unfiltered.

Our Tasting Notes:

This wine has a medium to deep pink-cherry color. The nose is fruity and intense, with aromas of juicy raspberry, small red berries, hints of wet stone, minerals, and floral notes of rose petals. On the palate, the wine has a medium body, is dry, and has a rounded texture. There is a beautiful balance between acidity and fruitiness, complemented by a smooth, slightly creamy structure. The finish is dry, pure, and intense, with multiple layers of flavor, making this wine complex and perfect to pair with a meal or enjoy as an aperitif.
