The Cepage from winery “Tsarev Brod” consists of four sorts of grapes with which they show the white sorts in their vineyard. The ratio is: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Traminer and 20% Pinot Gris .
All sorts of grapes for this wine are harvested at the same time in mid-September from the vineyards of Winery Tsarev Brod near town of Shumen! Assembled like this, they fermented at 14-16 °C for 30 days. Afterwards aged for 5 months on the “fine lees”.
Our tasting notes:
The wine has a straw yellow colour with light greenish hues. Intense nose with fresh character, expressive aroma of citrus fruit, nettle and lemon grass, mineral. Medium, round body with good density, very good balance and refreshing finish.
