The project for the winery started in the year 2001, when the family of agronomists planted the first ha of vine farming, today reaching 27 ha. They are people close to the land who realize that constructing cellar and buildings is easy and fast, but on the other hand, perennial plants need time and systemic care. Indeed, raw material is the key of a future winery. Therefore Ivan and Svetla Ivanov remained patient while the vines aged to reach their full potential. Winemaker Nikolay Krastev knows very well those vineyards as well as the potential and characteristics of the vines. Therefore he is also key person for Tsarev Brod winery with freedom to leave his mark on the production. In 2015 he was the engine behind the appearance of the new winery Tsarev Brod on the market.
