Elenovo Reserve is the range of wines meant to be the signature wines of Edoardo Miroglio. The Italian entrepreneur, since the start 2000 with the winery in Thracian valley, never shut the door for the local variety as it is this the case for the Noble variety Mavrud. The region of Elenovo village is known for its high quality structured and full of flavours wines from the Mavrud. The village has also its PDO status.

Our tasting notes: 

 The wine has deep ruby colour. Intense and expressive nose typical Mavrud. The aromas are of ripe cherries, black plums, spice of musk, cinnamon and black pepper as well of dried leaves, smoke and earthy – mineral notes. In the mouth is again rich and medium - full body with high acidity to balance the fruitiness and high tannins in the wine. It is a typical structured and spice wine of the Mavrud variety with remarkable lasting finish. 

Best with:

various kinds of meat - cold meat starters, pork with cream sauces, lamb, steak. Aged yellow cheese, Moussaka, casseroles.  To fully enjoy this wine, we recommend opening it in advance and/or decanting.
