'Quel Mariage' between these 2 international varieties Merlot and Syrah. Wild fermentation with yeasts from our own vineyard. Located in South Sakar Mountain, overlooking the main Maritsa River (near Shishmanovo village, Harmanli municipality). This southeastern part of Thrace (Trakia) has been known for its quality wines for thousands of years. 

Our tasting notes: 
This a bold, “rules breaking” blend, where a Bordeaux variety is combined with one from the Rhône Valley. It has beautiful medium intensive red colour. Lovely bouquet of fruit and spicy aromas dominated by plum, cherry, a touch of cardamon and nutmeg. Fruity, juicy, and elegant body with good structure. Taste of leather and liquorice notes, finishing with fine and intriguing acidity and aftertaste of blackcurrant, tobacco leaves and black pepper.

game, barbecue, lamb, matured cheeses, Bulgarian Moussaka with chopped meat.
