The few hectares of its own vineyard with organically certified vines of Edoardo Miroglio are dedicated to those two Bulgarian grapes. Mavrud (read more about) which is already known for its structured and internal red wines and the Bouquet (read more about) which is a cross between Mavrud and Pinot noir. Bouquet makes fruity and light red wines and is also widely used for rosé wines as in this case.
Our tasting Notes:
The wine has a medium rosé color. Fruity nose, typical of Mavrud and Bouquet. The aromas are of ripe cherries, rasboise, strawberry, dry herbs and mineral notes of wet stone. On the palate it is medium-full and dry, with a high acidity and a lot of freshness that balance the wine. A typical structured and juicy wine of the Mavrud variety, with a remarkably long finish.
Best with:
various meats, cold meat starters, pork with cream sauces, lamb, steak, BBQ. Fish such as salmon or solid fish on the barbecue. tapas and on its own.
