About this wine:
Bergulé Viognier & Chardonnay 2019, made of 50% Viognier and 50% Chardonnay. Grapes source of own vineyards Villa Melnik , near the town of Melnik, Struma River Valley region. Very interesting and well made white cuvee! Well balanced wine with distinct harmonious body, fermented in Bulgarian oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Clean, fresh lemon colour. Expressive nose, rich on aromas. Mostly primary fresh fruit, pear, white peach, lemon, pineapple, honeysuckle, white blossom. Vibrant and inviting nose with hints of nuts, vanilla, smokeness result of the partially use of oak "barrel fermented". Dry and dense wine with medium- full body and bright acidity increasing the feeling of fresh fruit. Intensive flavours of white peach, lemon, pineapple and nutty, smoky notes. Balanced, 'oily' on the finish with long integrated acidity.
