The blend is made precisely from a selection of 10 oak barrels of different volume and origin (Hungarian, Bulgarian and French). The wine has matured for 27 months in barrels and another 15 months in the bottle, before release in October 2019. The brand “Private Reserve” is Bratanov’s most premium and prestigious wines, made only in the best vintages.

Unfiltered - a noble sediment is possible. A limited quantity of 3 395 bottles of this vintage!

Our tasting notes:

This wine shows vibrant ruby red colour with copper ring. Noble nose with hints of tobacco, leather and herbs. A complex and juicy medium body with ripe fine-grained tannins, which blend gentle earthy accents, cocoa, shades of blackberry, ripe cherry and green olive. It ends with a long lasting and elegant finish of dried fruit and herbs. Great balance achieved with high acidity, tannin structure and yet elegancy with potential for bottle ageing (2019 - 2029).
