Orange wines prove that everything new is a well-forgotten old. Get ready for a surprising view of the aromatic Misket variety. Misket grape is an old Bulgarian variety, known for its dry fragrant wines, but it can produce wide range of styles. This orange wine is left for a couple of weeks to soak with skins of the grapes " skin contact". Afterwards it is aged for 4 months in new Bulgarian oak barrels of 400 and 500 litre. Orange wines are natural wines, that can assume a slight noble sediment on the bottom, regarded as totally normal with even a positive impact on the taste.
Our tasting notes:
Light gold colour with shiny orange nuance. Intensive juicy aroma, with scents of apricot, yellow plum, candied fruit, vanilla and a touch of toasted bread and almond. On the palate is dry and fresh with good balance. Tastes of stone fruit, dried fruit – apricot and raisin slightly toasty and nutty taste. Medium body with nicely balanced yet dry and smooth finish.
