Bergulé Viognier & Chardonnay 2021, made of 60% Viognier and 40% Chardonnay partly fermented in oak barrels. Grapes source of own vineyards Villa Melnik , near the town of Melnik, Struma River Valley. The word Bergule (we read Bergule with an emphasis on the last letter) is Thracian and means hill, ridge, coast. We associate the word with the wise words : "Everything changes. Even the river can run dry. But the banks that shape the riverbed remain forever”. Thus, for us, the banks of the Melnik River become a symbol of eternity. "

Tasting notes: 
Clean, medium yellow color with some sort of yellow fruit tinge. Nose is nicely rich and round, with ripe yellow fruits with pits. Floral notes, spices and almonds. dry in the mouth with ripe fruit which gives the feeling of something sweet. Well balanced with nice high integrated acidity, light alcohol and medium body with the typical for Viognier wines 'oily' texture. Flavor of yellow fruits with seeds can be found in the mouth, in the background, dry flowers, almonds, touches of vanilla and white pepper. Impressive taste pallet with a fairly long aftertaste. Nicely made white cuvée, and it seems to be a perfect marriage between those 2 grape varieties.
