Winemaking: The wine is made from carefully selected grapes. Aged 18 months in Bulgarian oak barrels. Noble wine with a long aging potential. For connoisseurs and wine collectors.  Aplauz Premium Reserve is one new product of Villa Melnik winery, meaning to show excellence of winemaking and terroir expression of the beautiful, small  southern-west of Bulgaria region - Struma Valley.

Our Tasting notes: 
Beautiful dark garnet color. Rich, crushed cherry notes with hints of blackberry and mulberry. Distinct chocolate tones with hints of walnut. Elegant, fresh taste with medium body and pleasant tannins.  A perfectly balanced wine. A finish that lasts forever. Wine is ready for consumption but also with a great aging potential.

red meat like beef steak, lamb, game (venison),casseroles, grouse, turkey
Serving tips: 18-20 о С, decant 1 hour before drinking

   Aging:  15 months in oak: 40% new, 40 second fill, 20% third fill

   Maturity: ready to drink, but it can mature further +10 years

   Closure: cork

      Alcohol: 14,5 %

   Volume: 750 ml

   Serve:  16-18°C
