Unlike most wines from Four Friends Winery, this Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from grapes sourced from two distinct terroirs. The first, located near 'Provadia' close to the Black Sea, imparts vibrant citrus and green flavors along with bright acidity. The second terroir, in the inland Thracian Lowlands near 'Saedinenie', contributes ripe fruit, a soft texture, and added depth and complexity. This harmonious blend of two terroirs creates a wine that is both balanced and enjoyable for a variety of occasions.
Our tasting notes: A pale yellow colour with delightful greenish nuances. The aroma is intense, clean, and fresh, showcasing typical notes of green apple, grass, green peas, and fresh herbs like dill, along with hints of pineapple and lime. On the palate, the wine is pleasantly fresh with a light body, juicy texture with some sparkles, and excellent balance. The finish is refreshing, with a pleasing acidity and lingering flavors of gooseberry and green pepper that invite you to take another sip.
Food pairing: This wine is equally enjoyable on its own or paired with dishes such as fish and sea fruits, also vegetables like asparagus, seasonal salads.
