The Vineyards and Terroir

The grapes come from selected vineyards located in Momkovo, Ustina and Rakitnitsa, in southern Bulgaria. The soils in Momkovo are cinnamon forest soils, those in Ustina are highly calcareous, while in Rakitnitsa they are moderately sandy with a high gravel content. The climate is moderately continental, with mild winters, wet springs and dry summers — ideal conditions for producing fresh, aromatic white wines.

Vinification

After careful selection, the grapes are gently crushed and pressed. The must is clarified and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 to 15 days at controlled temperatures between 15–17°C. Afterwards, final adjustments are made and bottling takes place. Each step is carried out with great attention to detail.

The wine is then aged for 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, adding texture and roundness.

Our Tasting Notes

Brilliant pale yellow colour with a delicate green hue. The nose reveals fresh aromas of white flowers, white fruits and ripe stone fruit, with a hint of green notes. On the palate, juicy and well-balanced, with touches of tropical fruit. A harmonious and pleasantly long finish.
