Via Aristotelis Cabernet Franc 2020 is an elegant red wine from the sunny vineyards of Starchevo in southern Bulgaria. This remarkable Cabernet Franc beautifully reflects the local terroir, where warm days and cool nights create grapes with outstanding concentration, freshness and elegance.

Vinification

The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. After a 7-day cold maceration, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs for optimal extraction. The wine is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, adding depth, complexity and refinement. Dry wine with 14.5% alcohol.

Our Tasting Notes

Deep purple-red in colour. The nose is rich and expressive, offering aromas of black fruit, violets, chocolate, sweet red pepper and subtle savoury notes of cured meat. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with silky ripe tannins and a long finish marked by hints of cocoa.

Food Pairing

A perfect partner for grilled beef, lamb, game dishes, hearty stews and mature cheeses.
